To the family of Mrs. Helen Kuehl,
We would like send our sympathy on the recent death of your mom. Our families date back many, many years as your grandparents and my grandparents (Emma and Herman Achrtberg) were neighbors and friend. Plus my dad and mother (Nathalie and Harold Achterberg ) got together quite often. We have many fond memories of spending time together. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

I remember Helen very well. We were first cousins who grew up together. Her mother, Elsie (Smith) Kuehl and my mother, Nina (Smith) Teske , frequently had family dinners together, either in Wausau or in Merrill, where my family lived. I am the godfather of Helen's son Alan. who became a great football player at University of Nebraska. Many fond memories. Condolences to her family.
