Catherine was my first cousin. She and I shared the same first name "Milla". My favorite memory of her was her constant, happy smile! We enjoyed visiting with her so much! She had a great interest in others and always spread Joy! Unfortunately, due to distance (my husband and I live in St Paul, MN), we did not see each other often enough! We send our condolences to the family and are sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral. May God bless all of you at this sad time. Love and Peace, Milla and Joe Lunders

I am a member of St. John's in Oregon and had the privilege of getting to know Catherine when I interviewed her for an article in the church newsletter. I truly enjoyed our conversations and hearing her stories. She was an inspirational woman. I am not able to attend the funeral, but I wish to send my condolences to her family. With deepest sympathy, Lori DuPuis

It is silly but here are my remembrances ....first of all, the wonderful relationship that she had with Kate Beck. Truly a wonderful friendship over the years! Second,I had the opportunity to be Catherine's Mary Kay consultant for a few years. Although she had beautiful, beautiful skin, she honored me with a few purchases over the years...she was not vain but was protective of her lovely face and she had a beautiful skin and lovely personality. But more than that,, I valued the absolutely beautiful of her. Not only did she had a timeless facial skin, but I so enjoyed our conversations. She was truly a beautiful person in every way, who I cherished the opportunity to have met in my life!! A lovely lady who I suspected lived a very honorable and wonderful life....It has been a pleasure to have been a gift to have known her. My thoughts a re with all of you at the time of your loss of such a gracious woman! Sincerely, Nancy Endres

I was out of state when she died so I am delayed in responding. Oh, what a lovely and informative obituary (thanks Jim). I knew Mrs. Pasell when I was a kid in Oregon but I know more of her from my conversations with Dale. She had a remarkable zest for life. Her outlook should be adopted by many. She was humble and found the good in instances that really weren't that good. What a way to view life. My sympathies to the family. You all made her proud. She lived a long life to be sure all of her kids and grandkids were ok. They are. May she rest in peace now.
