Arlene Ellen Montalto

MIDDLETON-Arlene E. Blahna Montalto, passed away peacefully Friday, March 18, 2016. She was born in Wauzeka, Wis., on April 1, 1932, to the late Leroy Blahna and Olive Weisensell. Arlene loved life and made the best she could of it! She had a passion for caring for people, impacting many lives and touching hearts in her group home she ran for many years. She loved Christmas, doing cross stitch and playing slot machines. She especially enjoyed her chocolate maples. She is survived by her five sons, Joseph (Diana) of Whitewater, Phil (Susie) of Waterloo, Steve (Tammy) of Wauzeka, Mike (Cindy) of Middleton, Paul (Linda) of Culpeper, Virg.; daughters, Cindy (EJ) Carter of Middleton and Ana Marie (Rick) Ziegler of Middleton; 17 grandkids; 27 1/2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Joe Montalto. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
