Aldene Mobley

MIDDLETON-Aldene Kathryn Mobley, age 93, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Oregon Manor in Oregon, Wisc.  She was born on July 25, 1922, the daughter of Carl E. and Ethel M. (Zimmerman) Punke.  She married William L. Mobley on Dec. 5, 1940 in El Paso, Ill.  Aldene was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She was always ready to play Rummy 500.  She loved gardening and flowers, baking, painting ceramics and embroidering.  She was very creative.  Aldene was affectionately known as the garage sale queen.  She loved all these things, but above all, she loved her family very much.  Aldene is survived by her sons, Gary (Lynn), Rick (Debbie); daughter, Peggy Salmon; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; daughter, Patricia; sisters, Vera (Punke) Stempert, Mildred (Punke) Kendall; brothers, Eugene Punke, Robert Punke; and, grandson Ricky Brannam.    Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com
