Gary Lyle Zink

VERONA- Gary Lyle Zink, age 62, of Verona, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, from complications of pancreatic cancer. Gary was born July 31, 1953, in Reedsburg, to Lyle and Irene (Sandow) Zink. He worked for M&I Bank for many years. Gary enjoyed being an amateur civil war historian, attending coin and stamp shows, as well as being an ardent Trekkie. Gary is survived by two sons, Elliott (Alison Wineke) and Eric (Megan Vassallo); granddaughter, Evelyn Zink; former spouse, Donna Richardson; three sisters, Karen Pantaleo, Eloise Thomn and Lylette Smith; and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Kelly; and two brothers, Larry and Duane. A memorial service will be held at ST. JAMES EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 427 South Main Street, Verona, on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Peter Narum officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
