Jane and family- Frances, Grady and I cannot adequately express the total sadness of learning that Joe entered eternal Navy patrol today. We were the closest of friends for nearly 50 years beginning with our PhD studies at UW. Our meeting in Madison just 18 months ago was very special. Continue to be strong. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Lanny Yeske, PhD Commander, U. S Navy (Retired) Forest, Virginia
