Obituary
MADISON- Brian Ketterer (BK to his friends), was born March 24, 1971 in Madison. Brian grew up in Madison, DeForest, and McFarland, graduating from McFarland High School in 1989. He had a lifelong enjoyment of music, ranging from metal rock to classical. Brian developed his skill as a guitarist, spending his most pleasant hours making music by himself or with friends. Brian was a hard worker, faithful in attendance and always seeking to give his best. He was especially caring to those in need, standing up for anyone being bullied. Brian's family loved celebrating holidays with him. Brian is grieved by his parents, Neil and Nancy Ketterer; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Deanne Ketterer; niece, Amanda Ketterer; grandmother, Helen Starch; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Armand and Anne Ketterer, and Earl Starch. A memorial fund will be established in Brian's name. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. I was lucky enough to grow up with BK as one of my closest friends. He was always doing something silly. Some of my favorite memories are of him doing impressions of anyone from Tina Turner to Udo Dirkschneider. He was always trying to make sure that everyone around him was happy. I will always treasure his friendship.

Brian was my neighbor across the street from me. I am just shocked, yet. I was so used to seeing him walk up the sidewalk and up his drive way and I would yell out "Hello Brian!".
Brian always liked to come to my fire pit at the end of the driveway. He was always so funny. I always appreciated hearing his stories about how hard he tried to get his co-workers to 'do the right thing'.
I will miss Brian in the neighbor hood. It will take a long time to get over this. Not judging, just wondering, wondering, wondering.
Brian did NOT like barking dogs! lol I do not either, but Brian barked back! lol
My deepest desire is that Brian was able to have a discussion with God before, and that he is now, safe in the arms of Jesus!

You will be missed by all who knew you. I was shocked and hurt to hear about you leaving

We are so sad that you are gone BK. How quickly time passes. Just a few years ago we had some of the same friends. At least our memories remain. I'll never forget the great pumpkin party I had at my house. A few friends having fun... what a mess that we made. Especially you.... you made us laugh with your funny pumpkin!

BK was one of my closest friends growing up. I will never, ever forget the sound of his laugh or the smile on his face. One time, he put Alka Seltzer in our toilet and my Mother was FURIOUS! Not for long because he just had that way about him and you could not help but forgive him. I will never forget the summers we spent at the Trestle Trail, the park or at various friends houses. All of us enjoyed Brian heckling Mr Rupnow, which always made class fly by. Rest In Peace Brian
