Obituary
MONONA- Cora Chapman, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. She was born on Jan. 24, 1926. Cora grew up on her family farm near Belleville and spent most of her adult life in Monona. She was married to the love of her life, Albert "Bert" Chapman until his death in 1972. Cora retired from Oscar Meyer and enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. Cora is survived by her two children, David (Sharon) Chapman and Sue (nee Chapman) Gockel; four grandchildren, Wesley Chapman and Ian, Lucas, and Caitlin Gockel; and brother, Henry "Bud"(Marge) Halverson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, with Pastor Scot Sorensen presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

She was a wonderful aunt and a fun aunt to be around. Always had a story to tell you about the good old days. She will be missed a lot. I though a lot of you Rubber Nail (Cora) and will never forget all the good times we had. You are now at home again with all your sisters and some of your brothers.
