Obituary
MADISON/MONONA-Deloris "Todd" Pinkerton, age 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Heritage Monona. She was born on Feb. 11, 1917, the daughter of George and Mae Schoblaska. She grew up in Manitowoc and attended both Marquette and UW-Madison, where she graduated as a Medical Technician. Todd married Hulbert "Hub" Pinkerton on May 5, 1951, and they enjoyed 64 wonderful years together. After a brief career as a "Med Tech", she embarked on a career as mother and housewife. Most of her life she was an avid writer and successfully made the transition to computers which allowed her to continue writing into her early 90's. Hub and Todd were life members of ARE and attended many conferences in Wisconsin and Virginia Beach. Todd is survived by her husband, Hub; son, Milo (Virgil Taus); daughter, Brenda "Sue" Stuber; grandson, Mike Harbaugh; two great-grandsons, Damion and Connor; sister-in-law, Kika Schoblaska; niece, Ann Van De Grift; and cousin, Craig and his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1609 University Ave., Madison, on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eldonna Hazen presiding. A time of Fellowship will follow the service during brunch at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church in memory of Delores. What a lovely, dynamic lady she was! Living like Todd means that no one needs to become an old person no matter what their age. I know she was deeply loved and will be missed.

Todd has a smile that always brighten your day. She loved to listen to music and sing along. She was "Sunshine" And I will always remember her as "Sunshine". Todd will be missed.
