Obituary

MADISON-Edward A. Brown, age 77, of Madison passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016. He was born on Nov. 17, 1938, in Madison, the son of Charles and Dorothy Brown. Ed married Pricilla "Pug" Normington on Sept. 19, 1956. He worked as an automotive technician at Thorstad Chevrolet for 43 ½ years. Ed was a member of the Madison Vintage Car Club for many years and traveled to numerous car shows. across the state. He loved his family, playing games and doing jigsaw puzzles. Ed had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He was a dedicated armchair coach of the Packers and Brewers and loved life to the fullest. Ed is survived by his wife; children, Aaron (Pam); Bambi (Ed) Jackson, and Chris (Lisa); grandchildren, Andrea, Brandon (Alicia), Jenna (Jerry), Jessie, and Tyler; six great-grandchildren; extended family, Steve (Chris), Barbara and Rita; many nieces and nephews (Browns and Caravellos); and a special cousin, Trauta. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Helen, Loretta, Marge and Betty Jane; four brothers, Bill, George, Arnold and Vernon; and granddaughter, Jessie. Funeral services will be held at MESSIAH EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN, 5202 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.
