Olga Juarez

MADISON-Olga Juarez, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Doroteo and Elisa (Rosas) Estevis. She married Ricardo Juarez on July 23, 1962. Olga ran a children's daycare for many years. She was a member of Good Shephard Catholic Parish at St. Joseph's Church and a former active member of St. Martin Catholic Chapel. Olga was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served for two years. She was formerly employed at Edgewood High School and Oregon High School. Olga was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bingo, a fan of Tony Rocker and loved dancing. But her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Olga is survived by her husband, Ricardo; children, Thomas (Barb) Riffle, Audrey (Juan) Cano, Carla (Aurelio Ramon) Riffle, Elisa (Ryan) Hecker, Leticia Dennis and Gregorio (Trisha) Juarez; grandchildren, Erica (Efrain Rodriguez) Riffle, Victoria Villarreal, Doroteo Cano, Thomas (Ashley) Riffle Jr., Jonathan (Amrya) Riffle, Christopher (Sarah) Riffle, Jessika (Greg) Coleman, Tari Lynn Hecker, Benjamin Riffle, Lutecia Dennis, Crystal Lynn Hecker, Michael Dennis, Aurelio Ramon Jr., Viktor Juarez, Vincint Juarez and Taliyah Juarez; 10 great-grandchildren, Sylvester III, Javani, Janessa, Syncere, Jersey, Sophie, Kyra, Adrian, Colin and Raiden; sisters, Bertha Mullins, Dolores (Robert) Valdez and Yolanda (Luis) Chacon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Eva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at GOOD SHEPHARD CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. JOSEPH CHURCH, 1905 West Beltline Hwy, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, with Monsignor Thomas Baxter presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
