Otis-Hernandez, Sally MADISON-Sally Otis-Hernandez, age 55, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at UW Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1960, in Madison, the daughter of George and Annette Otis. Sally graduated from LaFollette High School in 1979. She married Ricardo Hernandez. Sally always welcomed a conversation with strangers, and really loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Sally is survived by her children, Tara, Carla and Christina Lettman; grandchildren, Ariel, Savannah and Tristan; mother, Annette; step-father, Richard Carlson; Richard's children, Jill and Scott; brother, Bill (Sue) Otis; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George; brother, Bruce Otis; sister, Cindy Eckerman; grandparents, Nora and Stanley Mockrud and George and Dorothy Otis. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Sally was much loved and will be deeply missed. Sally was so sweet and outspoken (in a good way) and showed care and concern for everyone not only her family. She was funny and had the most contagious smile and laugh. Shewas an incredible person and will be missed ♡
