Memories of Karin

I had the honor of working with Karin at UWL Murphy Library. I loved hearing the stories of her trips and her childhood. Karin had the biggest and kindest heart. So glad to have known her. Sending love to her family. Bonnie Daines

I remember Karin as one of the bright intellectuals at UW-L when I first came here in 1988. She was so good at keeping Murphy Library stocked with the most excellent publications, and she was always involved in the humanities. I am retiring this month from UW-L (I'm an English professor) after 27.5 years here. Karin and her family will be in my thoughts.

Karin had the heart and intellect of a librarian- a high compliment . Thoughts with the family.

I worked with Karin in Murphy Library's acquisition department for over 16 years. Her dedication and kindness to all University staff and students was an inspiration to me. I remember her glorious flower garden, adventurous stories from travel in foreign lands, her laughter and her generous giving spirit to all. She would be embarrassed by all the kind words about her, but she deserves every word. My family and I feel honored to have known her. My thoughts and love to her family.
