Michelle your family here at Unity Point Health / Meriter hospital are all thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Some of us got to meet your father and he was just the nicest person. So easy to talk to / caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. A couple of his jokes / phrases he used or you shared that he said will always stick with me. I know you will miss your daily conversations that you had with him. He'll have them all laughing up there in heaven. You take care and let us know if you need anything. Mary and the rest of us here at the hospital.

I was the nurse at Ohmeda and knew your dad for many years. I agree with Mary Affeldt what a nice guy he was and I enjoyed visiting with him . My sympathies to the family.

Michelle and Tom and family--I so sorry for your loss. I had planned to attend the funeral today, but had a minor surgical procedure which has turned out to be more than I planned. As a result, I am unable to make it to the visitation. I am so sorry. Please know I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Please take care
