Obituary
TOWN OF BURKE-Ronald L. Klock, age 88, of the Town of Burke, passed away on Saturday, Jan 16, 2016, at Oak Park Place. He was born on Sept. 26, 1927, in Cando, N.D., the son of Ralph and Bertha (Abels) Klock. He married Marion Landsness in July of 1949. Marion passed away in Aug. of 1982. Ronald attended Burke Station School. He was a heavy equipment operator for many different companies, but retired from Homburg Contractors in 1989. Ronald was a 50 year member of the Operating Engineers of Local #139. He loved watching Midget Auto Racing, family softball games, playing cards, horseshoes and hunting. He was the one family and neighbors called on to "fix" things. Ronald is survived by his children, Linda (LeRoy) Dederich, Judy (Doug) Jesberger, Randy (Linda) Klock, Johnny Klock, Kandy (Todd) Reuter, Ronny (Margo) Klock and Debby (Ron) Imberg, all from the Madison area; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Debbie Bonnette; sister-in-law, Betty Veith; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Marion; son, Denny; grandson, Nathan; second wife, Darlene; brothers, Jacob, Simon, Elwood; and sister, Margaret Stockton. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz presiding. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, and at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wed. The family would like to thank Dr. Nosal, Nurse Heidi, Dr. Frontiera, Becky and the staff of Oak Park Place, Home Health United, Bright Star and Heartland Hospice for their tender and compassionate care of Dad. I remember the first Klock Christmas John took me too I sat down next to GPA on his left side and we started to play a game called quarters GPA and I each had 1 quarter left it was his shake and he shook an L so he nudged my arm and winked at me and said don't say I never gave you anything lol these are the memories I will save forever in my heart
