Obituary

MADISON-Timothy W. Pauley, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016. He was born on Aug. 16, 1956, in Madison, the son of Lawrence W. and Arlene R. (Riddle) Pauley. Tim was united in marriage to Liza Gilbert on May 16, 1979. Tim is survived by his wife, Liza; son, Josh (Stacy); mom, Arlene; sister, Kim (Scott) Askey; and sister-in-law, Sue (George) Ryan. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; and brother, Jim. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Tim & I were kids he probably 14 myself 16 (guessing) he helped me sneak the VW Bug from my parents garage. We drive around Monona a little, couldn't figure out why we stalled every time we stopped so we gave that up! But we did make it back to the correct garage no problem, didn't get caught!!

I was so surprised to here of your passing my long time friend. Meeting up with you at the post office after all these years was such a pleasant surprise and it was a joy to work with you as well.
