MIDDLETON-Beatrice "Bea" Barbara Henderson, age 93, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at her place of residence, Brookdale Madison West. She was many things to many people but most especially she was a wife, mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother fondly referred to as "GGma". She was born on November 22, 1922 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It was in Pennsylvania where she met the love of her life, George "Wade" Henderson. They were married on New Year's Eve, 1942. Beatrice loved reading recipes and watching the cooking channel – her lemon meringue pie and cheesecake were prize winning. Other interests included sports-specifically football, boating and family gatherings. Beatrice is survived by her son, A. "Dennis" Henderson (Cheryl); 3 grandchildren, Michael Kominski of San Diego, Calif; Amber (Mark) Schlichtig of Holcombe, WI; Aaron (Amanda) Henderson of Sun Prairie, WI; 2 great-grandsons – Morgan and Adrian and 2 great-granddaughters – Madison and Maylin; sisters, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents; husband – Wade; daughter – Barbara Beatrice Henderson; brothers – Peter, John and Stanley and sister - Martha. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Brookdale Madison West – 413 S. Yellowstone Drive, Madison, WI 53719.
