My sympathy to the Larson family. Warren was a kind man. I remember him coaching our baseball teams and playing a few rounds of golf with Warren and I in our youth.

I never forget playing catch with you, you teaching me the game of golf, the trips to the farm, the awesome Christmas candy you always made, and all the amazing stories you shared with me, like the one about you jumping over the moon my personal favorite. I'm blessed for the wisdom you've laid upon me and even more grateful that you are my Grandfather. You will always stay in my heart. Love Matthew

Warren was a true gentleman and--truly--a gentle man. We met when I worked as the Monona Veterinary Clinic receptionist, and he was our mailman. We got to know each other there and I always looked forward to his daily arrival. I remember he was so proud of his family, and he was proud of the apples he grew too. In fact, for many years--even after we no longer knew each other through our respective work situations--we kept in touch and every Fall he lovingly wrapped a few of his apples and mailed them to me. What a kind and gracious man he was. I am blessed to have known him. He will always have a special place in my heart. - Marti Houge
