Sylvia became a member of various civic and church activities.  In 1963, Armin, Sylvia, & their daughter moved to Middleton WI. A second house was constructed for the family with Armin overseeing its progress. Sylvia continued to be involved in community programs including 4-H, St. Mary's Care Center, Middleton Senior Center and as an active member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Sylvia was employed with Gaylord Catering for over 30 years.
