Darlene was like a second mom to me, a second grandmother to our boys and a dear sweet soul. I will her...I will miss her smile that can take away the worries of the day. Hugs all around to the families.

DeEtte and Laura, it's hard to believe it has been over 40 years ago since Mom first walked into our Salon, yet it only seems like yesterday. As you well know, Mom was more than a Client to me, she was my friend. She gave me her recipe "Goal Post Crunch", it is so Ironic that I was making it last Sunday, and I was going to call her and let her know but I didn't. When I finished cleaning up, I received the email from Laura telling me that Mom just passed away. I was sad, yet happy at the same time knowing Darlene will suffer no more. I will miss her a lot, as well as everyone who knew her will also. Until we meet again my friend, may God grant you eternal peace. Jim

Laura and DeEtte, I have such fond memories of your parents as our neighbors in the pink house!! Loved coming over to your mom's kitchen sitting on the bar stool,. I am often pleasantly reminded of her house when I wash my hands at. JC Penny's rest room. The yummy soap always makes me think of your mom. :-). I think of she and your dad often!
