Obituary
MONONA–Mildred A. Weakley, of Monona, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Oak Park Place. She was born on Aug. 3, 1933, in Aztalan, Wis., the daughter of Albert and Anna Kracht. Mildred worked at the Madison Club for 35 years and raised two children as a single mother. She loved traveling, painting and bird watching. Mildred will be sorely missed by those whose hearts she touched. Mildred is survived by her beloved son, Stephan (Julie) Weakley; beloved daughter, Sherri (Hudacko) (Stuart) Becker Jr.; nephews, Warren (Pam) Krueger and Dick (Kathy) Kracht; and nieces, Janet (John) Bade and Deb (Mark) Weissbrodt and Linda Loeder. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence Kracht and Earl Kracht; and sister, Marion Krueger. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015. Dear Steve:
I was saddened by your loss. My Mother died almost two yeas ago and it is still a raw feeling. You never get over it, you learn to Endure; thats all. Like yourself, I have no parents now. You lose the pillar of your life, yet your still standing. Just goes to show how well she raised you.....
