Hi, You don't know me. But i am Tom Grady at Oregon. I am going to see my daughter in Indiana, so I can't make the visitation. Sorry, But Tom's name rings a bell with me because My Dad and Tom I think worked together at one time for some farm government program and Tom was down here at the family farm several times as i remember, most like about 55 years ago- small world isn't it. Sorry for your loss.

To the family of Linda Everson: I am sorry for the loss of your father, though it seems like he may have had a long and rich life. I recently also lost my dad and now I know that short notes and condolences from friends are comforting. I used to think the words "At least he is not suffering..." were common and empty, but when one watches a loved one go through their last days, it takes on new meaning. Of course, I don't know anything about "Pa's" last days, but please accept my sympathy and warmest wishes for your family and all who loved him.

To the Familes of Harvey and Cindy Skaar, Mark and Linda Everson,
I am very sorry about the loss of your Dad, my Uncle Wesley. Wesley holds a special place in my heart. As my mother's big brother, he was so kind and caring. He seemed to be always looking out for her. When my mother died, he and Lois were there to support my Dad, who seemed lost without Doris. But they took him to church, and out to dinner and most notably, the Maple Tree, where Wesley was a favorite customer. My Dad very much appreciated the times they were able to spend togethet, as do I. I will always remember Wesley as having a smile and a contagious laugh. He was quick to joke and had a smart wit. I'm so happy he and Lois were able to have such a full life, with travel and lots of good family times. Wesley was such a wonderful person. As the last of the Thomas and Gladys Skaar siblings, Wesley wil be very much missed. RIP, Wesley.
