Mrs Wendt was our daughter's teacher at Grand Ave elementary School in Prairie du Sac. Even though she probably told every parent that their child was gifted and exceptional, I didn't know that. Even years after Beth had moved up in school, she'd ask about her and remember something from her time in her class. I can remember also how proud she was of your Dad and of all of you. What a special lady. Dianna Woerpel

I just heard of Mrs Wendt's passing and am so sorry to hear. She was my favorite teacher in all my years of schooling and I think of her so often. She had a way of making every single person feel special and important. My favorite memory of her was that my mother used to make these crochet snowflakes and I had given her one as a teacher gift. She loved it so much that for years she continued to ask my mom to make more. Every time I see the crochet snowflakes that my mom made I think of her and how much Mrs Wendt loved them too. Sending my love & prayers to her family. She will be missed. Connie (Russell) Reeves.
