POYNETTE/STOUGHTON–Charles Thomas Henderson, age 76, of Poynette, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at his home. He was born on Oct. 14, 1939, in DeForest, the son of Wilton and Melba Henderson. He married Gail Christine Hansen on Nov. 12, 1960, at Lake Edge United Church of Christ in Madison. Charles had a real love for the outdoors, had a fascination with exploration and was a frontiersman. He enjoyed trips to the Arctic Circle with Gail to watch polar bears. Charles worked at Uniroyal in Stoughton for 42 years and was a member of the Masons. He is survived by three sons, Tom, Richard and James (Karen) Henderson; and grandchildren, Sara and Tommy Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Gail. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
