My deepest sympathies to all the family. I worked for a number of years for Henry as his secretary at Central Wisconsin Center - during that time Emmy always sent little treats along with Henry for me - she was a wonderful caring woman. Henry was easily one of the best supervisors I have ever worked for and he would talk often of Emmy and his children. You are fortunate to have had such wonderful parents. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you all share. Sympathies: Sue (Strahl) Liegel

Please accept my sincere condolences, expressed also on behalf of my mother, Phyllis Newcomb. . Because my mother resides in memory care at Oak Park Place, and I visit there daily, I got to know Emerita. I remember her as a dear sweetheart, always wanting to share something interesting. Her thoughts by then were confused, so her conversation was not easy to follow, but her enthusiasm and sociability were undiminished. I remember as well her beloved Henry, who spent time with her daily, clearly devoted and tender, talking and walking with her in the hallways. May they both rest in peace, again wrapped in the love they shared while they were here together.
