So sad to lose a Shipmate and Brother! Sailors have a bond like all Branches of Service! We had a good visit in Charleston! Rest In Peace Jim! Fair winds and following seas...

A golden heart stopped beating when you were called home to be with Bonnie. Thanks for the memories, and humor. "junior" and Sarah always enjoyed fun and laughs with "uncle Jim" during bowling events. A beautiful soul and true friend, Myrtle Street and beyond! When I hear the thunder roll before a storm..... I will certainly think of you, as the angels in heaven most certainly are bowling! ;) RIP

To Jim's family, we are so sorry for your loss. We are sure he will be greatly missed. Jim and the rest of you were kind enough to include us in the Ewing Reunion in August. We enjoyed talking with and being with you all that day. Our deepest sympathy. Bernie and Martha Ewing, Donna and Art Mulholland

To the family of Jim Johnson, Jay and I are so sorry for your loss. Jim will be greatly missed. We just saw him and enjoyed his company in Charleston, SC at the USS Coral Sea reunion. We had such a great time and we will miss him at future reunions. Jim always had a smile on his face, a helping hand for those who needed it and kind words always. Our deepest sympathy to the family and may God comfort you during this difficult time. He will always be in our hearts.
