Obituary
LAKE MILLS/MADISON – Michal V. Elliott, 69, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at UW Hospital from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was born June 26, 1946, in Richland Center, son of the late Harold (Hap) and Jenett (Fry) Elliott. Michal is survived by Dinah Elliott; daughter, Danielle Griswold (Craig) of Vicksburg, Mich., grandchildren, Collin, Shaun and Adrian Knauer; daughter, Michelle Michalski (James) of Madison, grandchildren, Janessa and Jaiden Turner, Berlynn, Tahlia, Ella Rose, Lauren and Lucias Michalski; sister, Mary de la Rosa (Victor Feuerherd) of Fitchburg; brother, Vic (Corinne) of Marshall; nieces, nephews and the many friends he fostered from his years in the local auto refinishing and stock car racing scene and in Colorado, his other favorite place to be. Special thanks to Mya and the wonderful caregivers from Helping Hands, and to the St. Paul Lutheran pastors for their compassion and care. Visitation Monday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. and service at 1 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison. Burial service to follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Cottage Grove Road, Madison. My dear cousin, what a life we have had. Fun, fun. fun, Must say we have had our share. You will always be remembered as one of the most interesting people I ever knew. Loved your humor, quick wit and gentleness. You remind me so much of Uncle Hap, almost like looking at him along with some Aunt Jenett thrown in to help mellow you a little.
Miss you big guy, love to you and peace at last.
