CROSS PLAINS-Cecilia C. (Brings) Yelk age 91, a lifelong resident of Cross Plains, passed away on Wed. Oct. 28, 2015. She married Leonard Yelk on May 8, 1954. Cecilia was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by four children, Carolyn (Dennis) Meyer, Mark and Ellen (Brian) Yelk all of Cross Plains and Paul (Kellie) of Okauchee; sister, Betty Schulenberg; three grandchildren, Valerie (Alexander) Meyer-Hogg, Melissa Meyer and Daniel (Rebecca Watson) Meyer; and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hogg and Philip Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Marilyn; and eight brothers and sisters. Private services will be held. Deepest Sympathies to the Yelk Family on the death of your mom, Cecelia. I remember working at the St Francis Church Picnic with your mom...making coffee! That was her specialty as she told me while standing on a tall chair to reach the filters in the coffee maker. She was a lovely considerate lady.
