Have enjoyed visiting Edward the last 6 to 8 months before he died...Shared a lot of laughter, memories and jokes together...I'm glad we got to spend the time with you....and though we didn't quite get there before you passed, I got a chance to sit beside you and pray the Lords Prayer....I will miss you very much and so will Lily.....Gene and Patty Heiman.....

Sorry to read about the passing away of Edward. This must be a very difficult time for the family to deal with. However, we can all draw comfort from God's promise to bring back our dead loved ones into a paradise earth free of all pain and suffering{ Rev. 21:4}. We will be able to see them again in perfect conditions. This is going to take place very soon when God's kingdom is establish on earth. For more information, please visit www.jw.org

Ed was a neighbor of my parents in Monona for many years. He was a good friend to them and always gave a helping hand. Ed also kept a beautifully landscaped lawn and he and Lily will be greatly missed in the neighborhood. Susan Volker

So sorry for your loss, Lynn, Sarah, Bill and the rest of your family. Ed was always such a kind-hearted man with a gentle way about him. I will always remember trying to get any tips from him on gardening!! I was so jealous of how beautiful his geraniums were along with all of the other beautiful blooms he could grow. He is pain free now and watching over you. Love, Tara

Ed was the best Grandpa & Father In-Law! During his visits to see us in Green Bay (and later to Fort Wayne, Indiana) Ed would always tie into some project or landscaping repair without us even having to mention what we needed to be fixed or done. The job was usually completed before we woke up the next day.
Personally, I will miss our beers and talks together over the grill. I also loved golfing with him on the course in Monona. Our youngest son, Reid, was given Edward as his middle name for good reason. He is determined and hard working - just like his Grandpa.
It is our hope that Lynn will be strong in the next days, and our thoughts are with Grandma.
Finally, I know our entire family will miss the awesome tomatos, cucumbers, green peppers, and jars of jam. I look forward to drinking the last bottle of blackberry wine.
Finally, both Sarah and I want everyone to know that we will "Take good care of our guys" as Ed would always mention at every visit.
We will miss Ed's gentle sly smile, but know that his strength and grit was displayed the last months and will never be forgotten.
We love and miss you Grandpa!
Love Jim & Sarah, Cole, Easton, Reid, Abbey, Bella, and Oakley
