Grefsheim, Howard G. "Howie"
MADISON- Howard G. "Howie" Grefsheim, age 51, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at U. W. Hospital, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Over the years, Howie worked many jobs in construction, remodeling and as a handyman. He was a lifelong devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. Howie had a heart of gold and was always there for anyone who needed help. Howie is survived by his only son, Anthony Grefsheim; father, Jon G. Grefsheim; mother, Gert (Terry) Herron; sister, Jamie Nelis and her children, Angel (Matt), Maria and Johnny; uncle, Peter Grefsheim; and many friends, too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his finaceé, Laurie Loy; and grandparents, Norman and Helen Grefsheim. The family would like to extend their thanks to Gunderson Funeral Home and U.W. Dear Howie's family, We were so sorry to read about Howie. Gert, you babysat for us when we lived on Memphis Avenue when Ryan was small. I am so sorry for your loss. I would like to get in touch with you. My phone number is 838-6606. I didn't know your married name so was unable to reach you. Jamie, you probably don't remember us but you were so good with Ryan. I always felt good when Ryan was at your place. Howie was such a cute little boy.
