MADISON-Bertina Ailleen "Tina" Sandlan, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at Select Care Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1946, the daughter of Fred and Ailleen Heiniger. She married Ronald Carey Sandlan on April 13, 1968. Tina graduated from Madison East High School in 1964. Her primary passion was caring for her home and family. Tina liked animals and knick knacks, she also liked to crochet and make Christmas ornaments and jewelry. She loved arts and crafts and photography, always the shutterbug at family gatherings. Tina is survived by her husband, Ron Sandlan; daughters, Rhonda Marquardt and Sabrina Sandlan; grandson, Zachary Marquardt; sisters, Evelyn Flint, Mary (Al) Wait and Barbara (Joe) Albert; brothers, Phillip (Sharon) Heiniger, Roy (Mary) Heiniger and Ernest Heiniger; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Jimmy Heiniger; and parents-in-law. A Celebration of Tina's Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.
