Edward Lee Brown

MADISON-Edward Lee Brown, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on Sept. 30, 1935, in Madison, the son of Edward B. and Leona Brown. Edward married Beverly J. Elliott on Nov. 12, 1954, in Madison. He went to school in Oregon, Wis. Ed worked many years in construction, and with the help of his kids operated his own business. He sided one of the first houses in Madison. Ed enjoyed race cars, tractors, feeding the birds on the farm, and fixing things around the house in Ed's way. He was a prankster and enjoyed making people laugh. Ed is survived by his son, Russell (Sue) Brown; daughter, Kristine (Doug) Cupp; daughter-in-law, Sue Brown; grandchildren, Christopher, Brad, Heather, Travis, Amber, Shelby, Aimee and Alex; and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Natalie, Hunter, James and Kinley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly in 2011; and sons, Rodney and Robert. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
