Jerry was my friend and boss in the early years of my life. He taught me how to drive a Divco standing up and I only dented his head a couple of times when his head hit the windshield after I found brake rather than clutch. Jerry was always fair and understanding when a 16 year old kid screwed up. I worked for and with Jerry for 5 years. Without Jerry I could never had afforded to go to the uw and I hope he knows how much he changed my stars. Jerry was the hardest working man I ever knew and I've know a few in my days. I loved working with Jerry and eating three egg sandwiches for breakfast in Okee. May he rest in peace! Brian Osterhaus
