Obituary
MCFARLAND - Judith H. Neitzel, age 77, passed away surrounded by her children, on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on Aug. 7, 1938, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Caswell and Helen (Boeshaar) Garber. She graduated from Pulaski High School. Shortly after high school she met the love of her life, Edwin Neitzel. They were married on August 10, 1957. Judi and Edwin, made McFarland their home and were blessed with three children, Rick, Timothy and Dawn. Judi worked for the Steamfitters Local No. 394 for 28 years before retiring. After retirement, with Edwin by her side, they traveled the United States in their motor home. Judi enjoyed ceramics and owned Judi's Ceramics and Gift Nic. She also enjoyed knitting and playing cards, but her true passion was cooking and baking as she entertained family and friends. Above all, Judi loved her family and was a devoted Catholic. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Edwin, of 58 years; children, Timothy (Mickey Thome-Neitzel) Neitzel and Dawn (Kevin) Dommisse; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Neitzel; grandchildren, Jeannie Town, Nicole (Chris) Wrchota, Ashley and Clayton Neitzel, Brittney and Brandon Thome-Neitzel and Caswell and Libby Dommisse; great-grandchildren, Dayton, Taylor, and Noah Zettelmeier and Amber Wrchota; and aunt, Gladys Krawczyk. She is further survived by many loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Rick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at noon. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. "Mom, you were an amazing daughter, wife, mom, grandma, niece, cousin and friend to all. We love you and will miss you dearly. Until we see you again...".
