Jennie M. Dobie

MADISON-Jennie M. Dobie, age 93, of Gladstone, N.D., passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015. She was born on Oct. 23, 1922, the daughter of Ernest and Hebe Moore. Jennie enjoyed gardening. She worked at the UW-Hospital as a nurse's aide before working for the AV Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jennie is survived by her son, Jackson (Rose) Dobie; four grandchildren, Chad Dobie (Tracie), Carrie Puczko (Matt), Jacob Johnson (Ashley) and Jacob Dobie (Lauren); and four great-grandchildren, Oliver, Bennett, Nea, and Nick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; son, Richard J. Dobie; and daughter, Gail Jean Johnson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
