Bonnie Jean McCulley

MADISON/HAINES CITY, FLA.-Bonnie Jean (Millard) McCulley, age 87, joined her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015. Born in Portage, on Oct. 19, 1927, she attended Portage High School graduating in 1946, and attended every class reunion since. Bonnie married Kenneth Millard in 1946. She had eight children; four boys and four girls. Bonnie was very proud of her family that blossomed into 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She loved them ALL and each of their visits. Bonnie looked forward to the yearly family get-togethers at her son, Kenneth Eugene Millard Jr.'s home. She attended countless weddings and baby showers. Bonnie's main interest was making quilts. She made baby quilts for all the new babies in the family and countless other quilts just to make them. Bonnie ensured every new born in the family had a baby quilt made by grandma. Her other interests included ceramics for which she had a kiln and held classes. Bonnie also worked at Oscar Mayer for a time and found her career as a District Manager for Stanley Home Products. Bonnie is survived by children, Kenneth (Barbara) Millard Jr., Linda Eisner, Randall (Patty) Millard, Debra Thom-Whitley, Marilyn (Bruce) Gruebling—Govier, Richard (Wasana) Millard, and Brian (Cheryl) Millard; all of her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; and daughter, Kathy Hanson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 4 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015.
