Mary Patricia Downer

LODI-Mary P. Downer, age 90, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. She was born December 25, 1924 the daughter of Frank and Leokadia (Szultek) Kurkerewicz. Mary married Raymond "Ray" Downer on September 8, 1945 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2011. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Her interests included arts and crafts, gardening and sewing which earned her numerous ribbons at the Lodi Fair.Mary is survived by her children, Deanna Downer-White, Keith (Orasa), Dale (Jane), Gary (Jessie), JoAnne (Dale) Harris and Mark (Kristine); 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Wally Kurkerewicz and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. PATRICK'S CHURCH LODI, 521 Fair St., at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 with Rev. Fr. Chad M. Droessler presiding. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
