Billy R. Tuggle

MADISON-Billy R. Tuggle, age 76, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, surrounded by his family at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1939, the son of Littleton and Julia Tuggle. Bill married Delores Ninedorf on Aug. 10, 1956. He owned and operated Dimensional Dental Laboratory from 1970 until 1985 when he sold it to Williams Dental Laboratory with the hopes of being semi-retired, but his love of the dental profession and working with his family and many friends at the laboratory led him to work another 30 years. His knowledge and expertise helped to create thousands of smiles for patients of the dentists he worked so closely with. Bill and his wife Delores purchased property in Adams County, cleared the land and built a family cabin that is still enjoyed by their family and close friends to this day. He also loved to hunt and fish on the Chippewa Flowage and spent many a day fishing for walleye and crappie with his sons, grandsons, and close friend Phil. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife Delores, sons and daughter, and all of his five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Delores; son, Randy (Terri) Tuggle of De Forest; daughter, Tammy (Randy) Olson of Cottage Grove; five grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Tuggle, Jennifer (James) Fahey, Chelsey (Jason) Bennett, Kyle Olson, and Kendra Jones; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Lee (Harvey) Goglin and Gerald Tuggle; and faithful four-legged companion, Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd; his great-grandson; and three siblings. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
