Obituary
MADISON-Dawn M. Havens, age 37, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015. She was born on March 10, 1978. Dawn attended Luther High School, where she was an active athlete participating in volleyball and basketball. She was a very social person who loved being with her family and friends. Dawn was a member of Midvale Community Lutheran Church. She is survived by her parents, Michael Havens of Bangor and Norma Havens of Madison; sisters, Julie Dato and Lisa (Brad) Chapiewsky; grandmother, Vivian Havens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jose L. and Soledad B. Dato of the Philippines; and her paternal grandfather, Jim Havens of Bangor. Funeral services will be held at MIDVALE COMMUNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4329 Tokay Blvd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. I went to Luther with Dawn. I haven't seen her since then, but have been thinking about her a lot these past couple of days. She had a beautiful smile and was always very kind and sweet. May the memories you have and God's grace bring you peace during this difficult time. ~Anneliese Skoda

We haven't seen Dawn in a long time, since she moved away, but she was part of the family. Knowing she is in God's hands should give some peace. Our sympathies to the entire family!!
