Cynthia A. Shumate

Cynthia was the most loving and supportive step mom. I could not have asked for a more wonderful role model. She taught me so much and always had such inspiring wisdom to share. She definitely had a tremendous positive impact on my life, encouraging me to be the woman I am today. I love her so much.

Cynthia was an amazing and wonderful person. As my stepmother, she loved us as if we were her own. I am so grateful for the positive impact she had on my life. She will live on, always in my cherished memories. Rest easy. I love you.

Dear Shumate family, Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. It seems no greater sadness is felt than when someone so dear to us is loss. May you find comfort in your memories and draw strength from a promise God has provided which gives the hope of someday being reunited with your beloved ( John 5 : 28,29 ). This promised future is one that will be filled with great joy because it will include perfect health and everlasting life on a paradise earth where " the former things have passed away " ( Rev. 21 : 4, Psalms 37 : 29 ). May you find comfort in knowing that God does care and He does hear our cries. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

Death changes EVERYYHING! Time changes nothing....I still miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom in your advice, the stories of your life and just being in your presence. So No , time chances nothing. I miss you as much today as I did the day you died. I JUST MISS YOU. Thank-you for everything. Say hi to Corky for us. So take care till we see you again.
