Obituary

DE FOREST-Craig D. Bellefeuille, age 66, passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 12, 1949, to Leon and Deloris (Rasmussen) Bellefeuille, in Madison. Craig graduated from La Follette High School in 1967, where he excelled playing basketball. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 30 years. After retirement, he took a part-time job as a courier for Waltco. Craig loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and sitting on the patio counting hummingbirds that came to his feeder. He also loved to spoil his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue (Davison); his sons, Ron (Kimberly) of De Forest and Scott (Tracy) of Stoughton; grandchildren, Bryce, Riley, Jacey, Drew and Paige; brothers and sisters, Garry (Laura), Nancy (Kirk) Harden, Julie (Steve) Phillips and Donna (John) Matthews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lynne; and brother, Brian. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at noon, on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family for a charity to be determined at a later time. Thank you to the St. Mary's Cardiac Unit doctors, nurses and support staff for their wonderful care of Craig.

I loved when Craig and Sue would come into the restaurant I worked at, the absolute nicest people. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing. Sue, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!
