LORD, CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL LODI/DANE-Christopher Michael Lord, age 25, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 in Madison. He was born on September 22, 1989 the son of Donald and Karen (Padley) Lord.Christopher worked for McGann Construction and was a volunteer for the City of Lodi Fire Department. Both positions he truly enjoyed. Christopher and Sheila were to wed this weekend, August 22, 2015. They were looking forward to starting their lives together and starting a family, something Christopher so wanted. Christopher enjoyed ice fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends, all of whom will have precious memories to remember.Christopher is survived by his parents, Donald and Karen (Padley) Lord; sister, Becky (Tim) Bannach; brother, Kyle (Jessica) Lord; fiancé, Sheila Benesh; nieces and nephews, Trevin, Keleigh and Lilah Bannach and Addison and Brynn Lord; grandparents, Richard and Joan Padley and Barb Lord. Christopher is further survived by aunts and uncles too numerous to mention, who loved him dearly. Those who preceded Christopher and welcomed him home were grandfather, Ed Lord and uncles, Jim Schmitt and Roger Padley.Funeral Services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 206 Pleasant Street, Lodi at 11 am, Friday, August 21, 2015 with Pastor Michael Lee presiding, Burial will be in County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main Street, from 3 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2015 and on Friday, August 21, 2015, from 10 am until the time of the service at the church.A heartfelt thank you to all the first responders and medical staff of University Hospital who tried so hard to save him for us.
