I didn't know you well, but I am grateful for you as I could not exist had it not been for you. As you are responsible for the existence of many many lives as well as the existence of generations, we are forever blessed by your legacies... But I am never sad when one crosses over as I know they go to heaven and a world so much better than earth, you cannot help but be happy for them living in no pain and full of love in heaven.

I met your mom about 7 years ago and we shared quilting and life. She was so amazing. Sometimes I would stop at her apartment or see her at the Red Barn or Sunshine dinners. If we could all be as upbeat and positive as she was. I will always carry her memory with me. She was never OLD. So glad that I got to meet her!!

I first met you, grandma, on your 99th birthday. For your 100th, I wanted to introduce you to your great grandson, Jason. However, God decided to call you home the day before we could be there. I am and will forever be grateful that I got to meet you, even just once. You have left a lasting impression on my heart and I can't wait to see you in heaven and hear your stories. It's been 3 years since I met you and 2 since you went home, but it seems I always knew you. Love you, grandma. Give my dad my love.

This beautiful lady is my first mom in law..I married her son Lyle Holden in 1974..January 19..Sometimes things just don't work.. But we were so young & inexperienced that it was ..like a whirlwind..and emotions can make people lose sight of what's really important..I want to say that I didn't get to spend much time with this awesome woman but I respect her so much. I'm really glad that I knew her. She was always a lady. And I'm sure she still is.
