Obituary

BYRGE, WALLACE R. VERONA/BELLEVILLE-Wallace Raymond Byrge, 90, of Madison, died Friday, August 28, 2015, at Four Winds Manor in Verona, Wis. He was born May 7, 1925, in Primrose Township, Dane County, to Arthur and Inga (Anderson) Byrge. He was the oldest living member of Primrose Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, Wally was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada (Hans) Jensen and Gladys (William) Sparing; four brothers, Donald, Millard, Homer and Norris; his loving wife of 22 years, Inez (Kellesvig); and a niece, Sharon (Byrge) Bjork. Wally is survived by his dear nephew, Kenneth Byrge; his loving nieces, Marilyn Stephens and Carol Lewis; and many other relatives and friends, including, Nancy Johnson. Wally was a lifelong, dedicated farmer and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a good, loving, and compassionate man and will be deeply missed, but will live in our memories forever. Funeral services will be held at PRIMROSE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8770 Ridge Drive, Belleville at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015, with Pastor Nicole Espe officiating. Burial will be in Primrose Cemetery in Dane County, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Primrose Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice.
