Betty was a lifelong member of Bethany Evangelical Free Church where she sang in various musical groups, served as a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, nursery worker, AWANA leader and willingly filled in wherever she was needed. She was also an active member of the PTA when her children were growing up. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sandee (Ron) Erickson of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Roberta Jorstad of Madison; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to list. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, W. Memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Free Church. The family wishes to thank Christa and Nancy of the Heart Failure Clinic, and all the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for their compassionate and loving care. Betty was hesitant to leave this world as she wanted to be certain that she would meet all of her friends and family in Heaven. Her heartfelt prayer was that each one would get to know her Savior. To the family of Betty Geier. I would like it that you will accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother, Betty. I had met her several times over the years. Her sister Anna Bandelin , was a former neighbor of mine on Monona Dr. ,and her sister Esther Frydenlund Pierstorff Hovde, had been married to my father, James Wilson's first cousin, Carl Pierstorff, for many years before his passing. Our family was well acquainted with Esther and Carl. I have also met Betty's daughter, Sandy Erickson, so I hope she will get this message. Sandy, your mother was a beautiful and dear person, and I was very happy to know she and her sisters. Hope to meet up with you again , someday, too. Betti May Wilson Sanders ( a Pierstorff family relation) Gurnee, IL
