We will never forget how gracious Ron was to us as new Sunset Ridge residents back in 2003.
Ron made sure that we were aware of what we needed to know about our new community.
He was always willing to stop what he was doing to have a conversation as we walked in the neighborhood.
He would always send me encouraging ( after a loss) or congratulations ( after a win) texts when my beloved Buckeyes would play his beloved Badgers.
A great heart, a kind man.
We will miss the 'mayor" of Sunset Ridge.

Christapher and Derek,
Your Dad was an exceptional person that I was lucky to have had as a friend. When he walked in the room you knew the fun had just begun. From East Side Little League to St. Peter's basketball, and then to the "Near Miss" Gunshoot even after we moved. He made it a point to stay in touch, and the Badger tailgating was unbelievable.
May all your memories bring you comfort and know that he will now be with you wherever you are until the day when we all meet merrily in Heaven.
Our love and prayers are with you,
Greg & Kathy Buss

Ron was a gem!
I had the opportunity to work with him over the last number (+5) of years. During this time, Ron lived up to the Army slogan, "Be All You Can Be"! His nick name should have been "Available"! Any time anyone was needed to fill in on school routes, Ron was available. Anytime Badger Coach needed an extra driver, Ron was available!
We had many charters together and enjoyed working together. Many Friday nights would find us at Tully's for their fish fry. You usually think of a foursome being on the golf course, Ron was part of a foursome who will be truly missed and always remembered!
Having been promoted to his final post, his duties complete here may he ever rest in peace My wife and I offer our sincere condolences to his family, and may God comfort you through your sorrow.

I first met Ron after I became friends with Chris about 22 years ago. He would usually greet me with a big "Davey" You couldn't walk in a room and not be greeted by his big smile and personality. Truly a fun guy to be around and socialize with. Fishing trips on Lake Michigan, and the Madison chain. Deer hunting with Chris and Ken. Badger games, tailgating in style. Building a garage in the middle of a snowstorm while the Packers were playing. . Fireworks at Warner park, The motor home adventures.....the list goes on. Ron did it his way, the best way he could while having a ton of fun along the way. We grew apart over the last few years, but I will always cherish the good times we had. Rest in peace friend.

I didn't know Ron very long as I didn't start to drive for Badger Bus til Sept 1st,2014.We had several charters together and long conversations. He was a very pleasant person to be around,After I retired in December he drove my route on occasion. The last day of school before Christmas break I rode along to say goodbye to my kids and he was the driver. As I was leaving the bus I got a big hug and he said if I ever needed help with anything to just call.I will never forget his kindness.I talked to him briefly on the 23rd of July and was shocked tonight to hear of his passing. He was such a nice guy.My condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace. God Bless! Marcia Livingston
