She was a wonderful person, and was always nice to me the years I works for Bob. My sympathy to Tom, Ann, Pete And Jeff and your families. Sorry I can't attended the Services but I and my wife will be in Europe at the time, but I will be thinking of you. I would have loved to see you all after all these years, the three years I worked for your dad were some of the best of my life. Dave Pederson

In 1983 I attended the OGR conference in Washington, D.C. and had a most enjoyable time with Bob and Shirley. I will be sending a memorial to the Veteran's Museum in Madison as I did for Bob. You have my deepest sympathy. She was a delight. As ever, Thor J. Thorson

Shirley will be deeply missed by all of the many lives that she has touched throughout her life. One would be hard pressed to find another individual that was as Thoughtful, Kind, Considerate & Caring as that of Shirley Gunderson. My condolences go out to the entire Gunderson Family.

Shirley was a grand and gracious lady and made a wonderful team with Gundy. Working as an apprentice they made me feel welcome and part of the family, including inviting the entire staff over to their home where Shirley prepared Gundy's favorite meal, roast beef. Again, we were part of the family and I express my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Now living in Florida I will not be able to attend but you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hold onto those special memories as they will become helpful as time goes by....and they can't ever be taken away.
