Obituary
MONONA—Caroline Veserat, age 89, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015. She was born on May 20, 1926, in Greenwood, Wis., the daughter of Joseph and Gladys (Nelson) Krogness. Caroline graduated from Greenwood High School and UW-Stevens Point. Caroline taught elementary education in Racine, at Sherman Elementary in Madison, and at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monona. She married Francis X. Veserat on Nov. 20, 1954, and together they raised five children. Caroline later worked for the Department of Revenue retiring in 1995. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, spending time with her family, taking painting and water aerobics classes, and going on lunch dates with neighbors and friends. Caroline is survived by her children, John (Sue), Jean (Cannie) Ware, Timothy and Mike (Jeryn); nine grandchildren, Emily (Matt) Morley, Kelsey, Andrew, Caroline Ware, Nicholas Ware, Randal, Josie, Hogan and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Francis; and son, Thomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, with Fr. John Silva presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to IHM, Agrace HospiceCare, or a personal favorite. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Wildwood Clinic, St. Mary's Hospital, and Agrace HospiceCare. I worked with Caroline at the Dept. of Revenue many years ago. She was a very positive lady, and sweet as could be! :) One thing that stands out that I remember about her was the time she transferred to a job in FILES because she said she couldn't stand sitting all day anymore and when you work in Files you have to be on your feet a lot of the day by either filing or pulling files all the time. The reason that stands out for me is back then many new Revenue employees got their "start" in FILES and many of them couldn't wait until their 6 month probation was up so they could transfer OUT of FILES! :) Please accept my condolences.

My husband and I wanted to send our sincere condolences for your loss of Mrs Veserat. I can't even imagine how difficult of a time this must be for you. A thought that has always brought us comfort is that of the hope of God's Kingdom found at Revelation 21:3,4. It promises us that all of our heartache that we have faced during this time will be healed and that sorrow will be no more.
