Hunter, Jeffrey M.
MONONA- Jeffrey M. Hunter, of Monona, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015. He was born on Nov. 13, 1951, in Madison. He grew up and attended schools in Monona and graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1969. Jeff's career path took many turns but ended with him employed as a Steamfitter for many years in the Madison area. He worked hard until his retirement in 2010, but his true passions were spending time with family, working tirelessly on his family genealogy, camping and traveling. Jeff is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Matthew; step-sons, Nicholas (Breann) Bohne and Jacob (Heather) Bohne; and very special grandsons, Kaleb and Austin. He is further survived by his sister, Debbie (Bob) Noll; brothers, Mike Hunter and Bill (Sue) Hunter; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Lucy Hunter. Funeral services will be held at EAST SIDE CLUB, 3735 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, with fellowship to follow. Please come as you are. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Lake Farm County Park and Friends of Horicon Marsh. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
