Hunsberger, Shirley (Hoverson)
DEFOREST-Shirley (Hoverson) Hunsberger, born March 21, 1941, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015. She resided in DeForest. Shirley's life was filled with fun senior moments of travel, laughter and love. She worked 23 years at the Pine Cone Restaurant sloshing drinks and serving tasty meals. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Debbi (John) Thorstad, Teri Kramer, Kari (Angel) Diaz and Roni (Aaron) Pettry; 7 grandchildren, Brandi, Michael, Matthew, Angelica, Autumn, Angela and Jordon; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jackie (Pat) Mizzen, Rod (Nancy) Hoverson, and Jeralyn Peugh. Her furchild Bailey will reside with the Thorstad's. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe; mother, Mary Heyroth; and brothers, Don and Dean Hoverson. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015. All friends and family are welcome to visit and pay their respects during this time. Dress for this event is casual and a sense of humor is mandatory. So sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful lady. Every time I saw Shirley she made me laugh . It was an honor to have known Shirley. All my thoughts and prayers to the family.
